A European design sensibility in the heart of New York

Goal: Create a refined, European-inspired home in Chelsea centered around contemporary Italian design. The project focused on improving the existing furniture plan, introducing new pieces from an Italian retailer, and reconsidering the relationship between furniture, art, and color to create a more cohesive and inviting interior.
What we did
Reworked the furniture layout to improve flow, proportion, and the way the spaces were experienced.
Selected and sourced Italian furniture to establish a distinctly European design language.
Reconsidered the placement of the client’s existing art collection, integrating it more intentionally into the redesigned rooms.
Developed a new wall color palette to complement the furniture, artwork, and existing architecture.
Completed the spaces through furniture placement, accessories, and final styling.
Coordinated the project through completion, keeping selections and installation aligned with the established timeline.
Result: A polished yet comfortable Chelsea home with a distinctly European point of view, where Italian design, the client’s existing art, and a more considered layout come together naturally.
